Hope spends a good deal of each day, and I am sure all night too, feeding these babies. There are just ten feeding stations and eleven puppies so sometimes it becomes a mad scramble with lots of chirping, pushing and shoving for them to find a place at the milk bar. In this photo it appears a few have had their fill and are just resting now.
Here they are fighting for position. It is really great exercise for them.
Eiven can't seem to find a hole to fit through.
Little Sparrow is chirping like a bird. Sparrow is the tiniest of the bunch but she is mighty and can push those big brothers away when she is hungry.
Like I have mentioned, there is not a lot to take photos of at this point but at least you can see how they are growing. I did notice while holding each that I am beginning to see some cute little spots on some muzzles. Spots are beginning to show on bellies too. I am anxious for this white fur to come out and see the markings on the new fur.
Neurologic Stimulations continue and they all seem to be more tolerant of that and most relax in my hands when it comes to being on their backs. You would think being placed on a cold wash cloth would really bother them but they tolerate that pretty well, though they do scramble off of it pretty quickly.
It is soon time for those tiny sharp toenails to be trimmed again. Good luck with that Holly.
What a WONDERFUL mama Hope is!
